Israel Hands Over 15 Palestinian Bodies to Red Cross, Violates Gaza Ceasefire with New Attacks

Gaza (QNN)- Israeli forces handed over the bodies of 15 Palestinians to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Saturday. The bodies were transferred through the “Kissofim” crossing to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
This is the fourth batch of bodies Israel has released since the ceasefire began on October 10. Gaza’s Ministry of Health said the total number of bodies received since then has risen to 135.
The ministry added that several of the bodies showed signs of torture, beating, and handcuffing, with some victims blindfolded. Families have identified seven of the victims so far.
Meanwhile, the Civil Defense reported that its teams recovered 14 more bodies from the Zeitoun and Nasr neighborhoods of Gaza City. The recovery took place after coordination with the Red Cross.
According to the Civil Defense, Israeli artillery targeted a civilian vehicle in Zeitoun on Friday night, killing nine people, including seven children.
Despite the truce, Israeli forces committed more violations across the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
Israeli armored vehicles opened fire east of Gaza City, while a quadcopter drone fired on residents in the Al-Shujaiya and Al-Tuffah neighborhoods.
Israeli naval boats also fired heavily at fishermen near Gaza’s main port, preventing them from working. In the south, Israeli tanks opened fire on Abasan Al-Jadida, east of Khan Younis.
The Center for Human Rights documented 129 Israeli attacks, including shelling and shootings, since the ceasefire took effect. These attacks have killed 34 Palestinians and injured 122 others.
Over the past two years, Israel’s genocide in Gaza has resulted in nearly 70,000 deaths and 170,000 injuries, according to the health authorities. Civil Defense estimates that about 10,000 victims remain buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
