Around 1,000 Palestinians Killed by Israel in Occupied West Bank Since October 2023: UN

Occupied West Bank (Quds News Network)- At least 982 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers since the start of the genocide in Gaza, according to the United Nations Human Rights Office.
In a post on X, the UN agency referred to the Israeli raid last week on al-Mughayyir village as “another example of the ongoing oppression of and coercion against Palestinians”. The Israeli military last week destroyed about 3,000 olive trees in the village near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, the head of the local council said.
In the occupied West Bank, 982 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces & settlers since October 2023 alone, and over 42,000 forcibly displaced by operations, home demolitions & settler attacks.

The West Bank has seen a surge in Israeli military and settler violence since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October 2023, and tens of thousands of Palestinians have been forced out of their homes.
More than 2,370 Israeli settler attacks against Palestinians have been reported across the area from January 2024 to the end of July this year, according to the latest figures from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Ramallah recorded the highest number of attacks, 585, followed by 479 in Nablus in the northern West Bank.
At least 671 Palestinians, including 129 children, also have been killed by Israeli forces and Israeli settlers across the West Bank in that same time period, OCHA said.
Yesterday, the Israeli forces launched a prolonged raid on Ramallah and al-Bireh, and the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that at least 58 Palestinians were wounded.
