Scores of civilian casualties reported as Israel’s carnage persists for 107th day

Gaza (Quds News Network) – Dozens of innocent civilians have been killed and many others injured during the past few hours, as the ongoing Israeli war of genocide on Gaza entered its 107th consecutive day, according to reports from local and medical sources.

In Gaza City, an Israeli military drone targeted a vehicle at the Yarmouk market, resulting in the murder of three civilians, as reported by local sources. Simultaneously, medical sources confirmed casualties and injuries resulting from an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential building in the Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Concurrently, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on the Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, causing widespread destruction. However, there are no confirmed reports of casualties resulting from this particular attack.

In another distressing incident, Israeli snipers targeted civilians in the Katiba Square southwest of Gaza City, leading to several deaths and injuries.

Meanwhile, the city of Khan Yunis in the southern region of the Gaza Strip experienced Israeli artillery shelling, particularly targeting the Al-Manara neighborhood. In a separate strike in Khan Yunis, the Al-Amal neighborhood was hit by an airstrike, resulting in the loss of civilian lives and injuries.

Israeli naval forces were also reported to have shelled the coastal areas of Deir al-Balah in the middle of the enclave.

Eyewitnesses in Khan Yunis reported continuous Israeli artillery shelling in the vicinity of Nasser Hospital for several hours.

Israeli occupation forces continued their destructive actions in the central and eastern areas of Khan Yunis, causing further displacement and loss of homes for the already vulnerable population.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli war of genocide on Gaza has claimed the lives of approximately 24,927 individuals since October 7, with 62,388 others injured, a majority of whom are women and children.

Moreover, this aggression has resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly 2 million people from all parts of the Gaza Strip. The majority of the displaced individuals have been forced by Israel into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah, near the border with Egypt, marking Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
