Dua Lipa Drops Manager Over Participation in Smear Campaign Against Anti-Genocide Group Kneecap

London (QNN)- Dua Lipa has cut ties with her longtime manager, David Levy, after discovering he was behind a leaked letter urging Glastonbury Festival to drop the pro-Palestinian and anti-genocide rap group Kneecap.

According to the Daily Mail, Levy was the first to sign the letter sent to Michael Eavis, Glastonbury’s founder, calling for Kneecap’s removal. The Irish group has faced a zionist smear campaign.

A music industry insider told the outlet:

“Dua made sure through her people that David Levy wasn’t working on her music any more. She is very openly pro-Palestine and that doesn’t align with David.”

The leaked email, marked “private and confidential,” revealed that several signatories were leading zionist industry figures. Dua Lipa disagreed with Levy’s stance and decided to end their professional relationship.

“She views him as being a supporter of Israel’s war in Gaza, and the terrible treatment of the Palestinians,” the source added.

The star has long advocated for Palestinian rights. In May last year, she criticized the Israeli genocide in Gaza via Instagram. She also joined other artists in protesting UK complicity in Gaza.

Dua Lipa remains with the same company but now works with a different agent.

Despite the leaked letter, Kneecap performed at Glastonbury Festival in July. Authorities investigated their set but later took no action, citing “insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction for any offence.”

Kneecap described the investigation as “political policing intimidation.” The group added:

“Every single person who saw our set knew no law was broken, not even close.”
