Rabat (QNN)- Moroccan and Arab activists on Thursday launched a widespread online campaign against the regime’s decision to normalize ties with the occupation state after the outgoing US President, Donald Trump, announced the News.
Moroccan activists stressed their rejection of the deal and called it a stab in the back of the Palestinian people, reiterating their full support for the rights of the Palestinian people and rejecting any attempts to open up to the occupation state.
They also stressed the necessity of the popular confrontation of the attempts to normalize the existence of the occupation state in the region and make it a normal entity at the expense of the Palestinian people.
The outgoing US President, Donald Trump, had announced an agreement between Morocco and ‘Israel’ to normalize relations.
Not sure this is the best decision #Morocco should make right now domestically. Morocco and #Israel already had economic, military, and cultural ties. Part of the deal, the U.S. would recognize Morocco’s sovereignty claims over the #WesternSahara . 1/2

Morocco agreed to normalise relation with Israel in return United States will recognise Morocco's claim over the disputed Western Sahara region.
A region which is disputed with another muslim majority country Mauritania.

There’s no such thing as Morocco-Israel normalization being good “in and of itself”. Nothing exists in a vacuum. It’s clearly good for Israel & for Morocco. But it’s also clearly bad for Sahrawis, for Pal’s & for int’l law. You can’t isolate the act from its costs/consequences.
