Israel Kills Over 250 Civilians in Gaza in 48 Hours

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israeli airstrikes killed over 100 Palestinians in Gaza since dawn Friday, according to medical sources. Most of the victims were in the northern areas of the Strip. The death toll over the past two days has now reached 250.
Gaza’s Health Ministry confirmed that 63 Palestinians were killed since Friday morning. Of them, 55 died in strikes on Beit Lahia and Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Israeli jets hit homes filled with civilians. Footage circulating on social media unveil horrifying scenes of the massacres. Israeli forces bombed displaced families while they fled western Beit Lahia after being ordered to evacuate. Artillery targeted them during their escape.
Rescue crews rushed to recover bodies and help the wounded. Videos show civil defense and ambulance teams working with limited equipment. Many bodies remain trapped under rubble.
Inside the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, photos show dozens of dead lying on the floor. The facility could not accommodate the rising number of victims.
In Jabalia, civil defense teams found an entire family buried under a destroyed two-story home. Rescuers could not identify the remains.
Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for Gaza’s civil defense, said Israel targets anyone moving in the north. He confirmed that some victims remain unreachable because of continuous bombing. “All parts of Gaza are under attack,” he said. “These are systematic killings.”
In southern Gaza, an Israeli strike hit a tent sheltering displaced families in Khan Younis. One man was killed, and several others were injured. One of the wounded is in critical condition.
The attacks follow Thursday’s bloodshed, when 127 Palestinians were killed. Israeli bombs also struck two hospitals, six schools, and three UN shelters since Tuesday.
The Ministry of Health stated that Israel is committing “the worst ethnic cleansing massacres.” Dr. Munir Al-Bursh, the ministry’s director general, stated that Israel uses modern, internationally banned weapons. He called for an independent investigation, warning of a rise in birth defects linked to the weapons.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel—backed by the United States—has carried out a deadly assault on Gaza. The genocide has killed or wounded about 173,000 Palestinians. Most victims are women and children. Over 11,000 remain missing under the rubble.
