Hamas Issues Detailed Report on Israeli Violations of Gaza Ceasefire

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Hamas has issued a detailed report about Israel’s multiple violations of the ceasefire agreement that began on January 19, 2025. The movement stated that that the occupation state, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has continued aggressive actions despite the ceasefire. These breaches suggest an intent to derail the agreement and avoid negotiations for the second phase, Hamas stated.
Humanitarian Violations
Hamas stated that Israel has obstructed aid deliveries and humanitarian relief efforts. Only 978 fuel trucks entered Gaza in 42 days, far below the agreed 50 trucks per day. The movement also reported that Israel blocked commercial fuel imports and limited the entry of emergency shelters. Only 15 mobile homes have been allowed in, despite an agreement for 60,000. Essential medical supplies and heavy machinery to clear debris have also been restricted.
Military Breaches
Hamas said that Israeli forces have repeatedly advanced beyond agreed withdrawal lines, particularly in the Philadelphi Corridor. These incursions have led to civilian casualties, home demolitions, and land destruction. The movement also reports that Israeli drones and aircraft have violated no-fly periods over 200 times. Gunfire incidents, blockades on fishing activities, and prolonged military presence in key areas further violate the ceasefire, according to Hamas.
Prisoner Release Issues
Hamas said that Israel has delayed the release of Palestinian detainees. Under the agreement, detainees were supposed to be freed an hour after Hamas released Israeli prisoners. Instead, the final batch of 600 detainees was withheld for five days. The movement also documented Israel’s mistreatment of detainees before their release and failing to disclose the names of hundreds of detainees.
Border and Trade Restrictions
The continued closure of the Rafah crossing has prevented civilian movement and trade. Hamas also states that Israel has denied passage to many patients and injured individuals despite prior agreements. The restrictions have severely impacted daily life and the economy in Gaza.
Political Standoff
Hamas said Israel is deliberately stalling negotiations for the second phase of the ceasefire. The agreement required talks to begin 16 days after signing, but Hamas revealed that Israel has refused to engage. Instead, Israel has pushed for an altered version of the deal that violates the original terms.
Hamas Calls for International Action
Hamas insisted it has upheld its obligations under the ceasefire. It warned that Israel’s actions could collapse the agreement and reignite violence. The movement called on the international community to pressure Israel to honor the deal, facilitate aid deliveries, and ensure the release of all agreed-upon detainees.
Hamas also urged mediators and the United Nations to enforce the terms of the agreement. It warned that any attempt by Israel to modify or delay the process will be met with resistance. The movement held Netanyahu’s government responsible for pushing the situation back to the brink of conflict.
