Israel Forces Palestinian Detainees to Wear Shirts with Threatening Phrases Before Being Released to Humiliate Them

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israeli prison authorities forced Palestinian detainees who were released on Thursday as part of the Gaza ceasefire agreement to wear shirts with threatening phrases to humiliate them.
The white shirt carries text in Arabic that says: “Israel will pursue its enemies and will neither forget nor forgive them.”
Many of the detainees were wearing the shirt inside out or seen taking them off and stamping on them following their arrival.

This is not the first time Israeli prison administration forces Palestinian detainees to wear clothing prisons with threatening phrases and symbols.
Palestinian detainees who were freed as part of the sixth batch were also forced to wear shirts marked with the Star of David and the slogan “We will not forgive, we will not forget.” Photos showed them in degrading positions, further humiliating them after years of torture and abuse. Many were detained without charges or trial—taken as hostages rather than detainees.
Freed detainees have testified about the brutal treatment they endured. They described starvation, beatings, and other forms of systematic abuse inside Israeli prisons.
In contrast, Palestinian resistance ensures that every Israeli captive it releases is treated with dignity. In every exchange, the resistance provides gifts to the freed Israelis, despite them being soldiers or settlers captured in war.
Resistance groups also allow released Israelis to speak freely to the media and interact with Palestinians during the transfer process.
Released captives appear calm and comfortable as they address cameras. The resistance has consistently published videos showing the captives engaging in normal activities.
A surprising moment during a prisoner exchange between the Palestinian resistance and Israel last week sparked intense reactions on social media. Six Israeli captives were handed over to the International Red Cross. Among them was Israeli soldier Omer Shem Tov, who kissed the foreheads of two Hamas fighters before his release. Many have highlighted the gesture as a genuine expression of gratitude.
