Amid nationwide celebrations… Palestinians remember three Tawjihi students killed by ‘Israel’

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Palestinian Ministry of Education announced today the results of Tawjihi (general secondary education certificate examination), kicking off nationwide celebrations. However, families and friends of three Tawjihi students, who were killed by the occupation forces earlier this year, are having a tough day remembering their loved ones.

Israeli forces killed the 18-year-old students Hanan Khadour, Kamel Alawneh, and Mutasem Atallah, earlier this year.

On April 18, Hanan Khadour succumbed to her serious injuries that she sustained after being shot by Israeli forces in the stomach while she was heading to her school during a military raid in the city of Jenin on April 9.

On May 8, Mutasem Atallah, a resident of the village of Harmala in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, was shot dead by a colonial Israeli settler near the illegal settlement of Tekoa.

On July 3, Kamel Alawneh succumbed to injuries he sustained a day before in the belly and right arm by the Israeli occupation gunfire during confrontations in the Jaba’a town, south of occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
