Israeli settler shoots, kills Palestinian youth in Bethlehem

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – An Israeli settler on Sunday evening shot and killed a Palestinian youth near the illegal settlement of Tekoa in Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.

Hebrew news websites said that a settler opened fire towards four Palestinian youths and killed one of them allegedly for trying to sneak into the illegal settlement of Tekoa.

They indicated that search operations are currently being carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in Tekoa town in bid to find the three other youths.

Meanwhile, Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the youth as 18-year-old Mutasem Mohammad Atallah, a resident of the village of Harmala in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.

it’s noteworthy to mention that the youth Atallah is the second to be killed on Sunday evening, as another Palestinian young man was shot dead by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarem.

Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank suffer from almost daily attacks by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers, resulting in many injuries and sometimes martyrs among them.
