Israel Escalates Attacks on Gaza Amid Total Telecommunication Blackout: Dozens Killed, Aid Seekers Targeted

Gaza (Quds News Network)- On the 88th day of Israel’s genocide in Gaza, the Israeli military escalated its attacks amid a total telecommunications blackout. Warplanes and artillery struck multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, killing dozens and wounding many others, most of them civilians.
Israeli warplanes bombed a crowd in Gaza City’s Al-Tuffah neighborhood. Shortly after, drones targeted a group of Palestinians at the Sanawbar intersection, east of the same area. Multiple explosions followed, killing and injuring several people.
In central Gaza, Israeli warplanes bombed Deir al-Balah. At least nine Palestinians were killed. Their bodies were transferred to Shuhada’a Al-Aqsa Hospital.
Israel also bombed Al-Taqwa Mosque in Al-Bureij refugee camp, which had been previously targeted. Military vehicles opened fire on homes in the northern part of the camp.
In nearby Nuseirat camp, an airstrike destroyed a house near Al-Shaqaqi Mosque. Israeli artillery also shelled the refugee camp’s northern areas.
Israeli artillery fired directly at Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid on Salah Al-Din Street in central Gaza. Several were killed or injured. A similar attack took place in Al-Sudaniya, north of Gaza, where civilians gathered for food assistance.
In southern Gaza, Israeli forces bombed Khan Younis again. Airstrikes hit Jorat Al-Aqqad area.
Israeli forces also shelled a tent housing displaced Palestinians in Al-Mawasi area, killing and injuring several.
In a serious development, Israeli forces notified medical staff of their plan to storm Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. The hospital serves hundreds of kidney failure patients who depend on life-saving treatment.
Medical sources said 52 Palestinians were killed since dawn Thursday. Among them were 26 people killed while waiting for humanitarian aid.
Gaza remains in a total internet blackout from north to south. This has severely disrupted rescue operations.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel—with US and European support—has continued its genocide in Gaza. Over 182,000 Palestinians have been killed or wounded, most of them women and children. More than 11,000 remain missing. The humanitarian situation worsens daily.
