Family sources: Zakaria Zubeidi subjected to severe torture
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Jibril Zubeidi, the brother of Zakaria Zubeidi, said that his brother is being subjected to severe torture by Israeli interrogators.
“My brother is being subjected to the harshest forms of torture”, Jibril said. “They torture him with electricity, they have broken his leg, and they prevent him from sleeping. They are also hanging him from his broken leg.”
Israeli media had reported that the Shuhada Al Aqsa leader is holding the right to remain silent during interrogation sessions. He refuses to cooperate with the Israeli Shin Bet.
Zakaria was rearrested on Saturday in occupied Nazareth after five days of manhunt. He, as well as five prisoners, succeeded to free themselves from Gilboa prison, which the Israelis describe as Israel’s most secured prison.
Four out of the six prisoners have been rearrested, while two are still enjoying their freedom.
