Israel Threatens to Bomb Gaza’s Largest Displacement Centers Amid Mass Expulsion Orders

Among the threatened locations are Al-Shifa Hospital, the Islamic University, and multiple overcrowded schools, including Mustafa Hafeth, Al-Furqan, Al-Karmel, and Al-Shati. These sites currently shelter tens of thousands of displaced families.

Israeli forces ordered evacuations from Al-Rimal neighborhood, a densely populated area in central Gaza. The new orders triggered panic and chaos. People don’t know where to go. Entire families sleep on the ground in and around schools, trapped in fear and confusion amid waves of forced displacement.

Ambulances began transferring patients and the wounded from Al-Shifa Hospital to Al-Helou Hospital after Israel threatened to bomb Gaza’s largest medical center. Al-Shifa had already been functioning under immense pressure, serving as a final refuge for the sick and injured.

This wave of expulsions is among the most severe since Israel reignited the assaults. Gaza’s residents are terrified. Many have been displaced multiple times with no safe zone left to flee to.

The repeated expulsion orders and direct attacks on hospitals, universities, and schools highlight the Israeli military’s systematic targeting of civilian infrastructure. Yesterday, Israel bombarded Gaza’s European Hospital using heavy bombs. The attack killed dozens of displaced and injured civilians.

For 19 months, Israel has been carrying out genocide in Gaza. Over 53,000 people have been killed, most of whom are children and women. Despite two ICC arrest warrants and an ICJ order, Israel continues to slaughter native Palestinians in Gaza in blatant disregard for international laws.
