Young Bahraini man who burnt Israeli flag sentenced to jail

Manama (QNN)- A court in Bahrain has sentenced a young man to three years in jail on charges of burning the Israeli flag during a protest in support of the Palestinians.
The young man was among ten others, who went out in Budaiya town to show solidarity with Palestine, according to Al Bilad Newspaper.
Bahrain’s Supreme Court of Appeal refused to hear the man’s appeal, and issued the ruling after finding him guilty of “endangering the life and property of people, disturbing public security and disrupting traffic,” Mirror news website reported.
The development comes amid increasing normalization between the occupation state and Gulf Arab countries.
