Yemen’s Houthi movement warns U.S. against escalation on Yemen, affirms solidarity with Palestine
Sanaa (Quds News Network) – The Houthi-backed Yemeni Armed Forces has issued a stern warning to the United States, cautioning against any escalation targeting Yemen and its people.
The Armed Forces emphasized in a press release yesterday that they warn all countries “that the Americans seek to involve or entangle in protecting the Zionist enemy’s ships” to refrain from doing so.
Asserting their commitment to defending their nation, the Yemeni Armed Forces declared their readiness to take all necessary measures in accordance with their religious and national duties to resist and confront any foreign aggression.
Furthermore, the statement reiterated the unwavering stance of the people and armed forces of Yemen towards the Palestinian cause, expressing steadfast support for the oppressed Palestinian people regardless of any circumstances or challenges.
The Houthi movement pointed to the continuous and impactful mass demonstrations taking place in various public spaces across Yemen in support of Palestine, with the latest being yesterday’s protests. It said these massive protests are evidence the movement “is backed by a resilient, free nation.”
The Yemeni Armed Forces appealed to all Arab and Islamic nations, urging them to stand in solidarity with Palestine and reject the American-Israeli aggression on Gaza, as well as expressing support for nations aligning with the just cause of the Palestinian people.
