Yemen continues support operations: Missile from Yemen hits Tel Aviv
Sana’a (Quds News Network)- A senior official from Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, Nasr al-Din Amer, dismissed claims made by the Israeli military regarding the interception of a missile launched by Yemeni armed forces. In an exclusive statement to Quds News Network, Amer labeled the Israeli claim as “pure fabrication,” emphasizing that their missile had not been intercepted.
Earlier today, the Israeli military announced that sirens blared across the greater Tel Aviv area as it successfully intercepted a missile launched from Yemen using its Arrow defense system. Videos circulating on social media showed interceptor missiles exploding in the skies over Tel Aviv.
Israeli media outlets reported that 17 people were injured while ‘rushing to bomb shelters’ following the missile alert. Ben Gurion Airport temporarily halted all flights as alarms sounded across the region. The Israeli military confirmed that the alarms were triggered by the Yemeni missile launch.
Two weeks ago, Ansar Allah group claimed responsibility for launching a hypersonic missile targeting Tel Aviv, vowing further “significant operations” against Israel. At the time, Ansar Allah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, during a televised speech, announced that the missile had bypassed Israel’s defense systems, traveling over 2,000 kilometers.
Additionally, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a separate operation earlier this week, stating that it had launched a ballistic missile targeting a Mossad facility near Tel Aviv. The group attributed the strike to Israeli operations against its leaders.
