Video| UAE ambassador visits leader of Israeli religious far-right group hoping ‘Israel’ becomes “greatest power in region”

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Emarati ambassador to the occupation state, Muhammad Al Khaja, appeared in video footage visiting a leader of one of Israel’s most racist groups and said that he hopes that the occupation state becomes the greatest power in the region.
The footage, first published by Kan Israeli channel, shows Al Khaja while talking to a leader of Shas terrorist group, claiming that he saw a mosque in Tel Aviv.
“When I got here, I was surprised to see the people… warm-hearted people. I did not expect to see a mosque in the heart of Tel Aviv”, he said.
However, Tayaqqun fact-check platform classified Al Khaja’s remarks as “misleading”, stressing that there are no mosques in Tel Aviv unless the ambassador was referring to Hasan Bek mosque in the displaced town of Al Manshiyyeh in occupied Jaffa.
The mosque was part of the depopulated town and it is one of the few buildings that survived the Nakbah in 1948. Israeli authorities had ordered to demolish the mosque 40 years ago, however protests by native Palestinians saved it.
