Ramallah (QNN)- Three Palestinians were wounded today with Israeli rubber-coated metal bullets while dozens were suffocated with tear gas during an olive-harvesting event in the village of Burqa in Ramallah on Friday.

Israeli forces attacked and cracked down on Palestinian farmers and activists, who gathered to harvest olives at the invitation of the popular committees against the Wall and the settlements, the committees of the national and popular resistance, and Fatah movement.

The head of the popular committees against the Wall and the settlements, Waleed Assaf, said Israeli forces used rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas, and sound bombs against the participants, wounding three with bullets and dozens of tear gas.

The Israeli army has been preventing Palestinian farmers from reaching their lands for two days so far. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers continue to torch olive groves in preparation for confiscating further lands.
