Video| PA police in civilian clothes represses protest in Ramallah wounding and arresting dozens

Ramallah (QNN)- Dozens of peaceful protesters and journalists got wounded on Saturday when Palestinian Authority’s cops dressed in civilian clothes repressed a peaceful protest against the assassination of Nizar Banat.
The PA’s police attacked journalists, wounding several of them. The injuries included the journalists Najlaa Zaitoun, Shatha Hammad, Saja Alami, Faiha”a Khanfar, as well as activists. Most injuries were in the face.
Also, Fadia Al Barghouti, a candidate, who was running for the parliament in the canceled elections, sustained injuries when PA cops threw a tear gas bomb at her face.
PA cops intensively threw tear gas bombs at protesters. They also assaulted them using batons and stones.
Moreover, PA cops assaulted journalists, who were covering the protest. They confiscated their cell phones, trying to prevent them from covering the repression.
The Palestinian police arrested several protesters after assaulting them.
Thousands flocked to the streets of Ramallah, protesting against the PA’s assassination of Nizar Banat. Protesters chanted slogans calling the PA President Mahmoud Abbas for leaving power.
