Video| Israeli media: IOF General Colonel miraculously survived resistance bullets in West Bank
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli Ynet News published video footage showing a shooting targeting an Israeli force and General Colonel at Beit El military checkpoint in northern Ramallah during the latest aggression on Gaza last May.
The Israeli newspaper said the shooting took place while the OC Binyamin Regional Command Col. Yonatan Steinberg was in the location.
The newspaper added that Steinberg was too close to be killed in the resistance operation to follow his close friend, who was killed back in 2003 in occupied Hebron.
Israeli military investigations revealed that resistance fighters shot over one hundred bullets at the Israeli force, leaving two medium injuries. Steinberg, however, Miraculously survived “certain death”, according to the Israeli newspaper.
It added that the Israeli army and the Shin Bet are still working to have information about the resistance cell, which targeted the Israeli Colonel.
