Video: Israeli Groups Share AI Video Depicting Destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israeli groups released a shocking AI-generated video showing the destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the building of a Jewish temple on its ruins.

The video, titled “Next Year in Jerusalem”, went viral on Israeli platforms. It came just days after nearly 7,000 colonial settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa mosque compound during the Jewish Passover holiday under heavy Israeli police protection.

The footage simulates a massive explosion at the mosque. It ends with the image of a so-called Third Temple built on the ruins.

This isn’t the first time Israeli groups shared such content. In September, the group Temple Mount Activists published another AI video titled “Alarm Bell.” That clip showed a fictional fire at Al-Aqsa and included the words “Ultimate Victory” with calls to build the temple.

These videos sparked outrage across the region.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the video. It called it “systematic incitement” and warned of real threats to Islamic and Christian holy sites in the occupied Palestinian capital city.

Hamas also denounced the video, calling it a dangerous step toward erasing Palestinian identity and history in Jerusalem.

Egypt and Kuwait both issued strong statements on Monday.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry slammed the video and settler calls to blow up the mosque and Dome of the Rock. It called the provocations “a grave offense to Muslims worldwide” and urged global action to stop the threats.

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry called the video “racist and inciteful.” It said the message encourages violence and desecration of sacred sites. Kuwait warned of dangerous consequences and demanded international protection for Palestinians and their holy places.

Meanwhile, Israeli groups continue to push for full control of Al-Aqsa. They argue that the site was once home to an ancient Jewish temple.

But historians and archaeologists widely reject those claims. There is no clear archaeological evidence proving a temple ever stood beneath the Al-Aqsa compound.

Israeli police allowed colonial settlers to begin storming Al-Aqsa in 2003, despite objections from the Islamic Waqf. The raids have increased, especially during Jewish holidays.

Muslims around the world see Al-Aqsa as a sacred site. Many fear Israel is using religious holidays and settler violence to change the status quo at the mosque.
