Video| Israeli forces detain Palestinian child on his way to school in Nablus
Nablus (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces on Sunday detained a Palestinian child on his way to school in the al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village, south of Nablus in the West Bank, local sources said.
The head of the al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya Village Council said that the Israeli forces detained Husam Moayyad Oweiss, a seventh-grade student at the as-Sawiya / al-Lubban ash-Sharqiyya school, and took him to an unknown destination.
The child family and the school employees tried to convince the forces to release the child, but they refused.

Also, the occupation forces were today seen harassing, intimidating and obstructing the movement of Palestinian students while they were in their way to the as-Sawiya / al-Lubban ash-Sharqiyya school, in the early morning hours.
In the same context, the Israeli forces stormed the town of Sa’ir in Hebron today and detained five children, all under the age of 15, after raiding and searching their homes.
The five are: Rashad Jaradat (14), Mousa Jaradat (14), Hesham Jaradat (14), Mohammad Khaled Jaradat (15), and Murad Mutawir (15).
There are 4,850 Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli jails, among them 225 child prisoners.
In June only, 615 Palestinians, including 92 minors and 24 women, were detained by Israeli occupation.
