Video| Israeli forces assault Palestinians while harvesting olive crops in Salfit, beat man
Salfit (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces on Sunday morning assaulted Palestinians while they were harvesting their olive crops in Yasuf village, northeast of Salfit in the occupied West Bank.
Video footage shows the Israeli occupation forces soldiers assaulting the Palestinians and trying to prevent them from harvesting their olive crops in the village of Yasuf.
A Palestinian man is heard in the video saying to the occupation forces “This is my land.”
However, the soldiers assaulted and beat him although his family tried to prevent them, as the family is heard calling the soldiers to “Stop.”

Yesterday, the forces also attacked another Palestinian harvesters and showered them with teargas while picking olives in Zabouba village, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, in order to force them to leave the farms located near the apartheid wall.
The Israeli occupation forces constantly attack Palestinians while harvesting their crops.
Also, extremist Israeli settlers always uproot and steal the Palestinians’ trees.
On October 12, 2021, Israeli settlers uprooted around 900 olive and apricot trees in Sebastia in Nablus and stole olive crops. They also uprooted 70 olive trees in Masafer Yatta in Hebron.
Palestinians plant around 10,000 new olive trees in the West Bank each year, most of which are of oil-producing varieties.
However, Palestinians see the destruction of their trees as a way for the occupation to erase Palestinian identity and force them to cede more land to Israel.
According to United Nations monitors, more than 4,000 olive trees and other tree crops have been burned or removed by Israeli settlers and forces in 2020.
The committee against the wall and settlement on Sunday said Israeli forces uprooted, broke, and damaged 6507 trees in 869 operations in 2020.
