Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli forces arrested on the early morning of Sunday a child from his house in Jabal Al Mukabbir in occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said Israeli forces stormed Jabal Al Mukabbir and arrested the child Yazan Arafat Obeidat (17 years old) from his house. No charges have been
Obeidat’s brother, Muhammad, is also held by the Israelis. He was arrested in 2017, when he was only 17 years old, and sentenced to 18 years in jail. Muhammad was accused of “stabbing two settlers”.

In the same context, the Israeli army also arrested a 15-year-old child in Barta’a, Jenin.
Naser Said Kabha got arrested while he was heading home passing through a military checkpoint that was set at the entrance to his village.
Each year approximately 500-700 Palestinian children, some as young as 12 years old, are detained and prosecuted in the Israeli military court system. The most common charge is stone throwing.
