Hizma town has been subjected to aggressive violations by Israeli occupation forces, including raids, arrests and house demolition. Its entrances have been closed for nearly three weeks by the forces.
The town is home to some 7,000 people and lies between Jerusalem and Ramallah. To the west, on land expropriated from Hizma, ‘Israel’ established the illegal settlement of Pisgat Ze’ev and the apartheid wall, which runs right by the town.
