Video| Hezbollah refutes Netanyahu’s claims about having “secret arms depot” in Beirut
Beirut (QNN)- Hezbollah organized a media tour into a factory in Al Awza’i in Beirut to prove that Netanyahu’s claims about using a factory in the heart of Beirut as a secret arms depot are false.
Several media outlets toured in the factory, which is a metal workshop located near the Irani embassy in Beirut.
“This tour comes to prove that the enemy is lying to the public opinion and local, Arabic, and international media in order to justify any aggression that may target civilian structures and residential neighborhoods”, Hezbollah’s officer of media relations Muhammad Afif said.
“This structure has nothing to do with storing arms for the resistance. It is an industrial structure owned by a Lebanese person and it doesn’t harbor any missiles.”
Speaking in a video to the United Nations General Assembly, had accused Hezbollah of having a secret arms depot in the Jnah neighborhood, claiming that it is “where the next explosion could take place”.
“I say to the people of Jnah … You’ve got to protest this. Because if this thing explodes, it’s another tragedy,” Netanyahu said. “Iran and Hezbollah have deliberately put you and your families in grave danger… You should tell them, tear these depots down.”
A photo displayed by Netanyahu during his speech, purporting to show the entrance to a missile factory, was taken on the ground in Beirut, suggesting an Israeli intelligence asset provided it.
