Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Thousands of Palestinian mourners took part on Saturday in the funeral procession of a teenager killed by Israeli occupation soldiers in the town of al-Eizariya in occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that 18-year-old Fayez Khaled Damdum was shot with a bullet by Israeli soldiers in the neck while driving a motorbike in town of al-Eizariya, killing him on the spot.
A day of mourning was observed yesterday in the al-Eizariya after Damdum’s death was confirmed.
Dozens of people gathered outside the Damdum family’s house to pay their respects, chanting anti-occupation slogans.
Thousands also attended the funeral procession of the slain teenager.

Since the start of the year, more than 150 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli occupation, including 49 in the Gaza Strip and at least 100 in the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, according to the Health Ministry. The death toll in the West Bank is the highest since 2015.
