Adham Shaer has never known that he will lose an eye when he decided to have a walk in the archeological site of Sebastia.
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The former prisoner Adham Shaer has never known that he will lose an eye when he decided to have a walk in the archeological site of Sebastia.
Everything started when Adham was sitting at the archeological site of Sebastia along with dozens of young men and locals of the village and other neighboring villages.
However, the fun time ended when Israeli soldiers decided to suddenly raid the area at throw tear gas canisters at everyone on the site. Dozens of people were suffocated. Chaos ensued when Israeli Jeeps raided the site and started randomly shooting live and rubber-coated-metal rounds at everyone.
Adham was one of those who got injured, getting a bullet in his left eye.

Sebastia’s mayor, Muhammad Azem, had told QNN on Friday that Israeli soldiers opened fire while raiding the village, blinding a young man. Azem noted that the young men were gathering in the area as usual to have a fun time but the Israeli army surprisingly raided the village and attacked everyone.
Sebastia’s archeological site has been a target of Israeli soldiers and settlers attacks. The Israeli army had removed the flag of Palestine from the area a few days ago.
