UNRWA: Gaza’s families have ‘nowhere to go’ after new Israeli evacuation threats
Gaza (Quds News Network)- The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) said Israel’s new evacuation threats in Gaza are contributing to an “endless nightmare of death and destruction” in the war-battered enclave as families have “nowhere to go.”
“Once again, fear spreads as families have nowhere to go,” said the UNRWA in a post on X.
“People remain trapped in an endless nightmare of death and destruction on a staggering scale.”
Earlier on Friday, the Israeli military expanded the evacuation threats in Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah, forcing thousands of Palestinians to flee again as explosions from tank shelling reverberated around them.
The Israeli military ordered six neighborhood blocks that must “immediately move.”
The evacuated areas are in eastern Deir el-Balah, al-Qarara, al-Mawasi, al-Jalaa, Hamad City and Nassr. Several of them were previously considered part of Gaza’s so-called “humanitarian zone”.
