UN report: 9 martyrs in the West Bank and Gaza during last 2 weeks only
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Nine Palestinians were reportedly murdered by the Israeli occupation soldiers in the occupied West Bank and Gaza during the last two weeks only.
United Nations OCHA occupied Palestinian territory issued a report titled ‘Protection of Civilians’, which covers the period between 26th February- 12th March. The report revealed that two Palestinians were killed in the weekly protests on the Gaza-occupied Palestine borders, while 556 others were injured.
The report also revealed that a Palestinians sustained to wound while a 15-year-old boy was shot during the protests.
Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire at Palestinians in other situations, other than protests, injuring four fishermen and also arrested seven other fishermen and confiscated two fishing boats.
In the western part of occupied Palestine, the West Bank, Israeli soldiers opened fire at two Palestinians (41 years old and 23 years old) in two separate situations and killed them.
on 4th March, Israeli soldiers shot dead two Palestinians, who were on their way home from Ramallah. Israeli holds the bodies of both martyrs.
on 10th March, Israeli police opened fire at a 22-year-old Palestinian driver on a flying checkpoint, killing him.
The report revealed that Israeli forces performed 173 search and arrest in the West Bank, 45% of which caused confrontations.
Israeli forces also uprooted 135 olive trees in the Arroub refugee camp and Khillet Dab’a.
The report stated as well that seven attacks by settlers caused three Palestinians to be injured.
