UN expert: Israel is continuing ‘extermination campaign’ in West Bank

Occupied West Bank (Quds News Network)- Balakrishnan Rajagopal, the UN special rapporteur on the right to adequate housing, has decried Israel’s continuing assault on the occupied West Bank.
“What the Israeli army is doing in Jenin and other locations in the West Bank is a continuation of the extermination campaign it has been waging in Gaza,” Rajagopal wrote in a post on X.
“What’s the justification and the end game here?” he asked.
“When will the rest of the world and the Israeli public say, enough!”

Israel’s military operation in the occupied West Bank is now in its eighth day, in what is said to be the largest offensive in the occupied territory since the Second Intifada. At least 33 Palestinians have been killed, including 19 in Jenin, 4 in Tubas, 7 in Tulkarm, and 3 in Hebron. Among them are 7 children and 2 elders.
