UK, France, and Canada Threaten Action Over Israeli Attacks and Gaza Starvation

Gaza (Quds News Network)- The leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and Canada issued a sharp warning to Israel on Monday. In a joint statement, they condemned Israel’s expanded attacks on Gaza and the West Bank and threatened concrete action if the offensive continues and the blockade on humanitarian aid is not lifted.

“We will not stand by while the Netanyahu Government pursues these egregious actions,” the statement said. “If Israel does not cease the renewed military offensive and lift its restrictions on humanitarian aid, we will take further concrete actions in response.”

The three leaders said the suffering in Gaza is “intolerable” and that Israel’s recent pledge to allow a small amount of food into the enclave is “wholly inadequate.” They urged Israel to immediately stop its assaults and fully reopen humanitarian aid channels.

They also called on Israel to cooperate with the United Nations and allow aid deliveries.

The joint statement stated that Israel violates international law by denying civilians essential aid. It also condemned recent threats made by Israeli officials suggesting plans to expel native Palestinians. “Permanent forced displacement is a breach of international humanitarian law,” they said.

“We will not hesitate to take further action, including targeted sanctions,” the statement read.
