UAE’s first ambassador to occupation state sworn in
Dubai (QNN)- Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Khaja has been sworn in as the first UAE ambassador to the occupation state of ‘Israel’ on Sunday.
Al Khajah was sworn in before His Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The ceremony comes after the UAE’s regime approved the setting up of an embassy in Tel Aviv last month.
Last month, the occupation state opened an embassy in Abu Dhabi, while the UAE’s government approved setting up an embassy in Tel Aviv. After that, Itan Na’i, the Israeli special representative, who was expelled from Turkey earlier.
The UAE has signed a normalization deal with the occupation state. Former US President Donald Trump has brokered the deal, which has been described as a “peace deal” although the UAE had never been in war with the occupation state.
