Two citizens including child wounded by Israeli bullets in Jiftlik

Jericho (QNN)- Israeli forces opened fire at villagers in Al Jiftlik village in northern Jericho this morning, wounding two citizens. One of those wounded is a child.

Local sources said the citizens are Hamada Abu Saris and the child Aziz Abu Saris. Israeli soldiers have taken both citizens to an unknown place.

They added that one injury was in the waist with live bullets. An Israeli military helicopter and an ambulance arrived, however, they took one of the two citizens.

However, medical sources have not commented on the condition of the citizens so far.

Al Jiftlik is a West Bank village located in Area C. It has been a target of the Israeli frequent demolition campaigns. Israeli forces have forcibly expelled 100 families from the village since 2000.
