Trump Says He’d Take ‘Very Tough Stance’ on Gaza, Waits for Israel’s Decision

Washington (Quds News Network)- US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he would take a “very tough stance” on Gaza if Hamas does not release all remaining Israeli prisoners by Saturday. However, he added that the final decision is up to the occupation state of Israel.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen at 12 o’clock,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. “If it was up to me, I’d take a very hard stance. I can’t tell you what Israel is going to do.”
Earlier this week, Trump threatened that “all hell is gonna break out” and he would resume the genocide in Gaza if Hamas does not release all Israeli prisoners by Saturday. His remarks increase pressure on an already tense situation as Israel continue to violate the ceasefire agreement.
Meanwhile, Hamas has confirmed plans to release three prisoners on Saturday as part of its agreement with Israel. This comes following a delay in the release of prisoners due to Israeli ceasefire violations.
