Trump says Harris ‘hates’ Israel, responsible for October 7
Washington (Quds News Network)- Former US president Donald Trump has lashed out at Vice President Kamala Harris for her position on Israel’s genocide war in Gaza, accusing her of hating Israel and being responsible for October 7.
Donald Trump leveled the accusations in a flurry of late-night posts on his Truth Social platform after Harris emphasized her support for Israel and a ceasefire in Gaza during a keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention.
“Let me be clear, I will always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself and I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself,” she said.
“At the same time what has happened in Gaza in the past 10 months is devastating. So many innocent lives lost. The scale of suffering is heartbreaking,” she said, adding she and President Biden are still pushing for a ceasefire deal that sees the Israeli prisoners released and the war in Gaza ends and so “Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom and self determination.”
“SHE HATES ISRAEL – Wouldn’t even show up to Congress for Netanyahu’s session!” Trump wrote in one post.
“She caused the Attack of October 7th,” he claimed up in another post. “Iran was BROKE – Didn’t have money for Hezbollah!”
While campaigning for the 2024 presidential race, Trump has aggressively sought to portray himself as the pro-Israel candidate, claiming he is “the best president in history of Israel” and that any Jew who votes Democratic “hates their religion”.
Harris, meanwhile, has faced anger from pro-Palestine activists pushing for a Gaza ceasefire and an arms embargo on Israel.
Both on TruthSocial and his X, formerly Twitter, account, Trump posted a graphic titled “Biden-Harris accomplishments.”
The graphic featured a list of points, including “Israel-Hamas War” and “Russia-Ukraine War,” suggesting that the current administration was to blame for both.
