Trump: ‘Israel will cease to exist’ if Harris elected

Washington (Quds News Network)- Former President Donald Trump, appearing at a pair of pro-Israel events, told the crowds that Israel “will cease to exist within two years” if American Jews vote for the Democratic presidential nominee, Vice President Harris.

During his speech at an antisemitism event in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, Trump claimed he will be the “defender” of Jewish Americans if he wins but also seemed to suggest that if he loses the election, it will be their fault.

“You have to defeat Kamala Harris more than any other people on Earth. Israel, I believe, has to defeat her. I’ve never said this before,” he said.

“My promise to Jewish Americans is this: With your vote, I will be your defender, your protector, and I will be the best friend Jewish Americans have ever had in the White House,” Trump alleged.

In his pitch to Jewish voters, Trump brought up some statistics — though he didn’t cite the source — suggesting he has a lower percentage of Jewish voters ready to vote for him than Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I’m at 40%; that means you got 60% voting for somebody that hates Israel,” Trump said, alluding to the vice president. “It’s only because the Democrat[s] hold a curse on you. You can’t let this happen. 40% is not acceptable because we have an election to win.”

Trump continued, “I really haven’t been treated right, but you haven’t been treated right because you’re putting yourself in great danger, and the United States hasn’t been treated right.”

“With all I have done for Israel, I received only 24 percent. Think of this. I really haven’t been treated very well but that’s the story of my life. I understood that because I wasn’t a politician. And I won, but I understood that. And then I became president, and was the best president ever for the people of Israel and Jewish people. I did more for them than any president and probably any president can or will do.”

“I’m not going to call this as a prediction, but in my opinion, the Jewish people would have a lot to do with the loss. If I’m at 40%, I’m at — think of it, that means 60% of voting for Kamala, who in particular is a bad Democrat. The Democrats are bad to Israel, very bad,” he said.

“There’s a lot of power here. This is like the old days because, frankly, there’s been a movement going on: AOC-plus-three, but the plus three is a lot more. We have to end that. We have to end it. We have to end it fast. I’ve never seen anything like it,” implying that progressive Democrats are taking away pro-Israel groups’ lobbying power.

“Five years ago Israel was the strongest lobby, if you want to use the word lobby,” Trump said. “If you said something about a Jewish person or something about Israel, that was bad politics.”

“She’s supported unlimited migration from terrorist hotbeds into the United States — especially some of the hotbeds that most hate Israel,” he said, adding “they’re literally marching in our cities, and they are. They came from some very, very vicious, violent parts of the world, and they do not like Jewish people, and they do not like Israel.”

“Over the past 12 months, Kamala Harris has repeatedly demanded an immediate cease-fire to save Hamas,” accusing the Biden administration of “building a $237 million pier to save Hamas….every time there was a little rain, it fell apart.”

“She has even suggested she would put a full arms embargo on Israel,” he continued.

“If these are positions she takes before the election, just wait to see what she does after the election.”

“In my opinion, the Jewish people would have a lot to do with a loss.”

Later in the evening, at an event for the Israeli American Council, Trump continued the same theme.

While talking about the election, he complained about his low support among the Jewish community, ending his speech by saying Jewish voters haven’t treated him “properly” after repeatedly saying Jewish people who vote for a Democrat should have their heads examined.

“The United States election is the most important election in the history of Israel actually if you think about it how crazy does that sound, but it’s true.”

“I’ll put it to you very simply and as gently as I can, I wasn’t treated properly by the voters who happen to be Jewish,” he said.

“I don’t know. Do they know what the hell is happening if I don’t win this election and the Jewish people would really have a lot to do with that if that happens because, at 40%, that means 60% of the people are voting for the enemy. Israel, in my opinion, will cease to exist within two years, and I believe I’m 100%,” said Trump as the crowd appeared to chat among themselves.

Earlier in the night, at the antisemitism event, Trump called on his Democratic opponent to “disavow the support of all Hamas sympathizers, anti-Semites, Israel haters, on college campuses and everywhere else.”
