Florida (QNN)- Donald Trump on Thursday told a pro-Israel Jewish group they will vote for him to protect their wealth and described them of brutal killers.
Trump referred to members of the Israeli American Council as “brutal killers” and “not nice people” but said they will have to vote for him to avoid a wealth tax, as proposed by Democratic challengers Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
“A lot of you are in the real estate business because I know you very well, you’re brutal killers. You’re not nice people at all, but you have to vote for me. You have no choice,” Trump said.
Trump made the statement while hailing the economy’s performance during his tenure in the White House, claiming that the U.S. had the best economy in the world right now. He later predicted that the markets would crash if he were to lose the 2020 election to the Democratic presidential nominee.
“You’re not going to vote for Pocahontas [a racist slur Mr Trump uses against Ms Warren], I can tell you that. You’re not going to vote for the wealth tax!”, he added.
He continued by claiming that supporters of the tax want to take “100 per cent of your wealth away”.
“Even if you don’t like me – some of you don’t [and] some of you I don’t like at all actually – you’re going to be my biggest supporters because you’ll be out of business in about 15 minutes if they [the Democrats] get in,” he added.
While boasting about pro-Israel policies like moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over Golan Heights, Trump also said some Jewish people in America “don’t love Israel enough”.
Trump has questioned the loyalty of Jewish Americans before.
In August, he said any Jews who vote Democratic are “disloyal to Jewish people … and very disloyal to Israel”.
He also said Jewish Democrats show “either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty”.
