TikTok deletes QNN account following meeting with Israeli official

Ramallah(QNN)- TikTok has deleted the Quds News Network (QNN) account following reports about a meeting between the Israeli Minister of war and Facebook and TikTok executives. The meeting coincided with the aggression of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in various regions throughout Palestine.

Quds News Network is an independent network, run by a group of Palestinian journalists. It has headquarters in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The deletion of its account came only one day after TikTok and Facebook had met with the Israeli Minister of war Benny Gantz.

At the beginning of this year, TikTok deleted the network’s account for the first time, over a video showing the Israeli violations against Palestinians, and criticizing normalization between ‘Israel’ and Arab countries.

This is not the first time that QNN account has been deleted, its Facebook account has shut down and reopened several times.

QNN asked TikTok to back out of deleting its account and stop fighting the Palestinian content and supporting ‘Israel’.
