Three Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Jenin raid

Jenin (Quds News Network)- Three Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces during a military raid in Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank on Thursday.

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation soldiers besieged a house in the town and opened fire, killing three Palestinians.

Ambulance crews managed to transport a young man who sustained a shoulder injury near the besieged house.

Students at Abu al-Rab and Qabatiya schools experienced extreme panic due to the heavy gunfire, as they found themselves trapped in the area.

Israeli soldiers obstructed Red Crescent teams from reaching the besieged house, conducted searches from the roof of one of the homes where the deceased were located, and detonated a bomb in the vicinity.

They also fired tear gas at a number of journalists who were present to cover the raid.

Qabatiya Education Director Ahmad Jarara’a told local sources that “nearly 1,000 students are besieged in the two schools, while eight schools have been evacuated.

He emphasized, “The situation is very dangerous, and we are trying to ensure the safety of the students through continuous communication to secure their exit, stressing that the occupation forces have turned the surroundings of Izzat Abu al-Rab and Qabatiya Elementary Schools into a war zone.”
