Three Palestinians injured, five detained in an Israeli raid on Al-Far’a refugee camp

Tubas (Quds News Network) – Occupying Israeli forces injured three individuals and detained five during a military incursion this morning into the Al-Far’a refugee camp in the north of the occupied West Bank.

Local and medical sources reported that Anas Sawalmeh, a resident of the camp, was struck in the hand with live ammunition by Israeli forces. This incident occurred as they assaulted the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance transporting him to the hospital, subsequently arresting him from inside the ambulance.

In addition to Sawalmeh, two other young men sustained gunshot wounds—one in the chest and the other in both legs. They were expeditiously taken to the nearby Turkish Governmental Hospital in Tubas for urgent medical attention.

According to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) in Tubas, five Palestinians, including two children identified as Aziz Fares Sawalmeh (17 years old) and Abdul Fares Sawalmeh (14 years old), were arrested during the military intervention into the camp.

The events unfolded earlier in the morning when undercover Israeli forces infiltrated Al-Far’a refugee camp. Subsequently, additional reinforcements arrived from the Hamra military checkpoint, leading to confrontations. The Israeli forces besieged a house in the camp and targeted it with a projectile, demanding those inside to surrender.
