“They left a canine tearing down his shoulder”… Detainee reveals Israeli brutal torture

Bethlehem (QNN)- The detainee Ali Al Battat revealed through his lawyer dreadful details about torture that he has been subjected to during his arrest by Israeli forces.

The lawyer of Al Battat said that his client has been subjected to brutal torture by Israeli special forces during his arrest from his house in Bethlehem last week.

The lawyer cited Al Battat as saying that “large numbers of Israeli soldiers stormed his house and threw stun and tear gas bombs inside, then they unleashed a police canine, which tore down Al Battat’s left shoulder, leaving a deep wound in it. After that, they started beating him up on different parts of his body.”

“After arresting me, occupation soldiers took me to the Fureidees military camp, were they held me for long hours without providing medical care”, Al Battat told his lawyer.

He added that he was taken after that to Shaare Zedek hospital to treat his arm then he was taken back to Etzion interrogation center.

The Committee of Detainees and Former Detainees said that Israeli authorities currently hold 11 Palestinians at Etzion.
