The ongoing genocide in Gaza: Israeli airstrikes kill civilians in Rafah and Al-Nuseirat

Gaza (Quds News Network)- On the 358th day of Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza, Israeli airstrikes claimed the lives of multiple Palestinians in the areas of Rafah and Al-Nuseirat refugee camp. The attacks have intensified the already dire situation in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes targeted a residential home in Block C of Al-Nuseirat camp, located in central Gaza, while artillery shelling struck the northeastern outskirts of Al-Maghazi camp. The Civil Defense reported the deaths of several civilians, including members of Harb family, whose home in Al-Nuseirat was bombed. In addition to the fatalities, several others were injured in the attack.

A young Palestinian man, was killed by artillery fire that hit a road separating Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi refugee camps. At the same time, Israeli airstrikes hit Al-Manara neighborhood in Khan Younis, and Israeli artillery targeted southern parts of Al-Sabra in Gaza City.

In Rafah, four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on a home in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, northeast of the city. Meanwhile, Israeli forces fired on tents housing displaced families in Al-Mawasi area of Rafah, causing further casualties.

For nearly a year, the Israeli military, with support from the US and Europe, has relentlessly bombarded Gaza, targeting hospitals, residential buildings, and civilian infrastructure. The blockade has left Gaza’s residents without access to basic necessities such as water, food, medicine, and fuel.

The Israeli onslaught has resulted in over 41,534 deaths and more than 96,092 injuries. Additionally, 90% of Gaza’s population has been displaced as a result of the ongoing conflict. The humanitarian crisis continues to worsen as Israel intensifies its military operations.
