“That Dog That Hasn’t Barked Is Trump”: New Emails Tie Trump to Israel’s Epstein

Washington (QNN)- House Democrats on Wednesday released emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise fresh questions about President Donald Trump’s ties to the disgraced Israeli Mossad agent. The documents include a 2011 message in which Epstein says Mr. Trump “spent hours at my house” with a redacted victim. Lawmakers say the files demand answers.

Democrats said Epstein’s estate turned over more than 23,000 documents. The Oversight Committee released only three email exchanges. The package also includes court records, deposition transcripts and press clippings. Republicans on the committee accused Democrats of cherry-picking material to generate “clickbait.”

In an April 2, 2011 email to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein wrote: “i want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump. [Victim 1] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned.” Maxwell replied: “I have been thinking about that…”

A January 31, 2019 message that appears to be from Epstein to author Michael Wolff says: “Of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop.” That email links Mar-a-Lago by context and timing.

In a 2015 exchange, Wolff suggested a media tactic if Trump faced questions about Epstein. Wolff wrote: “I think you should let him hang himself.” Epstein then asked what answer to craft.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt accused Democrats of leaking selectively to “create a fake narrative” against Trump. She said the unnamed victim is the late Virginia Giuffre and repeated the president’s past claim that he cut ties with Epstein years ago.

Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, urged the Justice Department to release all Epstein files immediately.

Epstein died in 2019 while awaiting trial under circumstances officially ruled a suicide, though multiple pieces of evidence have fueled widespread speculation that he may have been killed. Maxwell, a Mossad agent, was convicted of conspiring in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring and now serves a 20-year sentence.

Trump has denied wrongdoing related to Epstein. He has said he kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago for inappropriate behavior toward staff.

Congress returns this week. Lawmakers plan hearings and more document requests. A discharge petition to force a vote on compelling the Justice Department to release files may move once a new member is sworn in. That process could take weeks.
