Teenager buried after over a year of Israeli confiscation
Ramallah (QNN)- The family and friends of Muhammad Matar (16 years old) have finally been able to take a final look at him before he was buried in his village, Deir Abu Mish’al in western Ramallah today, after over a year of confiscation by ‘Israel’.
Israeli authorities handed over the body of Muhammad on Friday after withholding it for over a year.
The 16-year-old boy was killed by Israeli soldiers at the entrance to his village back in August 2020. They withheld his body and refused to allow his family to bury him or make a funeral.
Local sources said resistance fighters took part in the funeral while participants chanted slogans calling fr the resistance to retaliate.
‘Israel’ continues to withhold dozens of bodies of Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers and settlers, denying their families their basic right to bury them or take a look at them.
