Statistical study: ‘Israel’ committed 33 violations against Palestinian journalists last month

Gaza (QNN)- Israeli forces committed 33 violations against Palestinian journalists during January this year, according to the government’s information bureau in Gaza.

In a new report, the bureau revealed that the occupation state continued its assaults against Palestinian journalists, committing 33 systematic violations during January.

The report said the occupation state tries to deliberately cause physical harm for Palestinian journalists to prevent them from conveying the truth to the world.

It also noted that it documented over eight attacks on journalists by the PA security services.

The report stated that the occupation state has arrested six journalists and renewed the arrest of a seventh one during January. It also expelled two journalists from the Al Aqsa mosque and prevented them from entry for ten days.

The report added that it documented six cases, in which journalists were attacked and wounded while covering events in the West Bank. in four other cases, journalists were threatened.

In eight cases, Israeli forces prevented Palestinian journalists from covering events while in four cases the Israelis stormed and vandalized journalists’ houses.
