Some 100 rockets fired at northern Israel from Lebanon

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- The Israeli military said some 100 rockets were launched from Lebanon towards northern Israel on Sunday while Hezbollah stated it has fired more than 120 rockets in the last 24 hours.

Some were intercepted, while others hit areas, sparking fires, according to the military, adding sirens sounded in the Western and Upper Galilee regions.

There have been no reported casualties.

Israel’s military attacked dozens of southern Lebanon villages and towns overnight and targeted Nabatieh city for a third time this week.

“Warplanes struck … the city of Nabatieh seven times,” Lebanon’s official National News Agency said. It added Israeli jets “conducted strikes” on more than 50 towns and villages, reporting casualties.

Lebanese state media also reported two Israeli air strikes in the morning in Haret Hreik and one in Hadath – all in Hezbollah’s southern Beirut stronghold of Dahiyeh.
