Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Every year on May 11th, people worldwide mark World Kuffiyeh Day in solidarity with Palestinian people and their resistance against the Israeli occupation.
Thousands of tweets and posts swept social media platforms on Monday to celebrate the Palestinian symbol of resistance and resistance.
People from all over the world, including politicians scientists and celebrities, shared photos on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using the hashtags #WorldKeffiyehDay and #WorldKuffiyehDay wearing their Kuffiyeh with messages of support for Palestinians in their struggle for freedom and justice.

The kuffiyeh is a black and white checkered scarf which acts as an iconic symbol of Palestinian resistance to the Israeli occupation and apartheid.
World Kuffiyeh Day aims also at bringing awareness and solidarity to Nakba Day, which is May 15.
