Six more civilians killed by ongoing Israeli shelling across Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network) – At least six civilians were reported killed and others injured this afternoon as the occupying Israeli regime continues its relentless aggression on the Gaza Strip from the land, air and sea for the 113th consecutive day.

In Gaza City, medical sources confirmed that three individuals were killed following an Israeli shelling that targeted a group of civilians near the Kuwait Roundabout in the city.

The same location witnessed a heinous crime just two days ago, resulting in the deaths of 20 civilians and injuring 105 others as Israeli troops opened gunfire targeting a group of citizens awaiting desperately needed UN assistance.

In southern Gaza, the bodies of two martyrs were transferred to the European Gaza Hospital after an Israeli strike on the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis.

Meantime, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced the murder of a displaced person by Israeli forces’ gunfire in the vicinity of the besieged Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis, which has been under continuous siege for the past five days and subjected to persistent shelling, despite serving as a refuge for several displaced families.

Simultaneously, the bodies of several martyrs were buried in the vicinity of the Palestine School in Khan Yunis as invading Israeli tanks continue to besiege the school, shooting at anyone trying to leave or enter the premises.

The Red Crescent emphasized that the siege and shelling pose a threat to the safety of its teams, as well as to the wounded, patients, and displaced individuals at its headquarters in Khan Yunis. The organization called on the international community to provide protection for its premises and personnel.

Over the past 24 hours, local health authorities reported 18 massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 174 fatalities and 310 injuries.

Medical sources disclosed that, within the last 24 hours, 28 people were killed, and others sustained injuries due to continuous Israeli shelling on Khan Yunis.

In a preliminary tally, the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has led to the tragic loss of 26,257 lives, predominantly innocent civilians, and left 64,797 individuals injured.

Moreover, the relentless aggression has forcibly displaced nearly 2 million people from all parts of the Gaza Strip, with the majority seeking refuge in the densely populated southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt. This represents Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
