Shtayyeh says results of the Israeli elections show that the coming period is full of challenges
Ramallah (QNN) – Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said on Tuesday that the outcome of the Israeli elections held yesterday show that the upcoming period will be full of challenges for the Palestinian people.
In a statement quoted by WAFA, the official Palestinian news agency, Shtayyeh said: “Media reports indicate that Benjamin Netanyahu is coming back to power, which is a sign that Israeli society is becoming more right-wing, and that the coalition that may be formed is a coalition to annex the Palestinian territories and attack the Palestinian people.”
“We are coming to a period full of challenges with the high pace of settlement construction and expansion, annexation of the Jordan Valley, transforming the Palestinian cities and villages into Bantustans and continuation of stealing our money in one form or another,” he added.
